The young artist and choreographer, Mirette is experimenting for the first time the adventure of creating a performance in an outdoor location. Accompanied by the outside gaze and artistic support of the well-known Egyptian choreographer Karima Mansour, Mirette conceived a sensible piece playing on the limit between the inside and the outside.

Performance: "Egy Flow Parkour" 
Between Mirette's and Ex-Nihilo's performances, we will follow Egy Flow, an Egyptian Parkour group, on a spectacular journey throughout the city.

Performance: Anne Le Batard & Jean Antoine Bigot - Ex-Nihilo (Marseille)
With Corinne Pontana, Ehab Shaltout, Fathy Aly, Hossam El Din Samak, Maram Mahrous, Mohamed Zein, Rolando Rochat, Samir Nasry, Shahd El Kattabi 

After giving a 3 weeks workshop with local dancers, professionals and amateurs, in collaboration with the dancers from Ex-Nihilo, the two choreographers wrote a piece directly emerging from the city of Alexandria and its energy. 

«What is at stake in this creation is the notions of energy, stamina and the introduction of a choreographic vocabulary, both physical and technical, resulting from the on-site work in a place of transit, of trade; a place located between buildings, streets, at the crossroads between the public and the private space.»

The company invites the audience to share an extraordinary moment of dance by exploring the Alexandrian main train station.

«Ex Nihilo is a company that has a shared desire, which is to regard the public space as a work place and the site for the festival's shows. The public space that we understand in all its richness and dimensions: spatial, historical, social, poetic… the public space, quite simply as another place for art? Each of our choreographies is envisaged in public sites and are strongly linked to the space in which they will be performed.»

Performance: Richard Siegal - The Bakery (Paris-Berlin)
CoPirates Alexandria 

Founder and artistic director of the research platform The Bakery, Richard Siegal is famous for his work combining dance and new media.
Richard will work in Alexandria with a group of western and Egyptian dancers on an adaptation of the project CoPirates, an experimental work experimental performance assembling elements of dance, party, and audience interaction. These project spectators bring together professional and amateur performers and propose to the public to physically acquire and transmit knowledge.

فنانة شابة ومصممة رقصات، ميريت تجرب لأول مرة مغامرة الأداء في المساحات العامة والهواء الطلق. تصور ميريت ترافقها عين خارجية ودعم فني من قبل مصممة الرقصات المصرية المعروفة كريمة منصور، عرض ميريت يلعب على الحد الفاصل بين الداخل والخارج.

بين العرضين سوف نتابع ايجي فلو مجموعة باركور مصرية في رحلة مذهلة في جميع أنحاء المدينة.

عرض: آن لو باتار وجان انطوان بيغو - إيكس نيهيلوه (مرسيليا)
بالإشتراك مع كورين بونتانا، ايهاب شلتوت، علي فتحي، حسام الدين ساماك، مرام محروس، محمد زين، رولاندو روشا، سمير نصري، شهد الكاتبي 
بعد ورشة عمل لمدة ثلاثة أسابيع مع الراقصين المحليين من الهواه والمحترفين، وذلك بالتعاون مع راقصين من إيكس نيهيلوه، كتب مصمم الرقصات عرض مستوحى مباشرة من مدينة الإسكندرية وطاقتها.

"ما هو على المحك في هذا العرض هو مفهومي للقدرة على التحمل، الطاقة، وإدخال مفردات الرقص، سواء الجسدية والتقنية، والناتجة عن العمل في الموقع؛ مكان يقع بين المباني، الشوارع، وعلى مفترق الطرق بين القطاعين العام والحيز الخاص"

الفرقة تدعونا لتقاسم لحظة غير عادية للرقص من خلال استكشاف محطة القطار الرئيسية بالإسكندرية.

«إيكس نيهيلوه هي الفرقة لديها رغبة مشتركة في اعتبار الأماكن العامة مساحة للعمل ولتقديم العروض. المساحة العامة التي نفهمها بكل غناها وأبعادها: الفضاء المكاني العام، التاريخي، الاجتماعي، والشاعري ...، بكل بساطة مكان آخر للفن؟ ويتصور كل كريوجرافر مساحته، ويرتبط بقوة بالفضاء الذي سيظهر عليه»
